1. Spinning Wheel, Knitting, Weaving, Beading, etc. (whatever you have put away, or not, and

want to work on)

2. Bag Lunch – There is a Publix and Albertson’s close by with a deli if anyone forgets.

3. Coffee or Tea mug - The Hosting Guilds will provide the beverage and treats.

4. Item for the “Yankee Swap” Put in a plain paper bag and seal so the contents cannot be

viewed. This item should have a value of up to $20.00 and should also be something that

if you get you will be thrilled!!! (Because you might!!)

Don’t Forget - We have so many talented participants; please put your name inside your swap

item, so we can give credit where credit is due!!!!!!

5. Items for the “Sale Table” Just like last year. Items that you have decided you might not

want and would like to sell. Put a tag on the item with your name and price.

6. FREE TABLE – Some people prefer just to give things away, so get to the “Distaff Day” early

“The early bird gets the worm!!”

7. The Fashion Show /Show and Tell– Bring an item you made this year and share with us your

experience and talent!!!!

8. NEW THIS YEAR! “Mini Tin Swap” – (1)Get a mini tin, such as an Altoid tin, candy tin, etc. It

must fit in a small brown paper bag. It should be small enough, that you can put it in with your

fiber or knitting bag. (2) Decorate the tin! You can go on the internet to get all kinds of ideas.

Beads, felt, paint, polymer clay. Get out that glue gun and go to town!!!! (3) Now the fun part – fill

it with stuff! Can be anything, as long as it fits in the tin. Candy, stitch markers, needles, stamps,

gift card, earrings, buttons, ANYTHING, as long as it fits in the tin, and you can close the top!!

(4) Bring your tin to Distaff Day in a small brown paper bag. Put some kind of symbol, number,

(not your name) so you recognize your bag, but no one else will. After lunch everyone that

brought a tin, will receive one in exchange.

All activities are voluntary. Feel free to participate in all or none

Hope to see you on the 9th!!!!!
